Sometimes developers need to store some objects in a Space that contain many non-indexed fields. These fields add a huge memory usage overhead, but packing these fields into a binary format can greatly reduce the memory footprint of the object. PackRat is an OpenSpaces extension that provides a common mechanism for solving this problem.
