Description:
FocalServer is a great tool to monitor a cluster of GSC, using standard JMX . Current version is not very flexible and does not provide a facility to administrate a cluster of spaces. Therefore, administrators need significant amount of knowledge/steps to successfully use this tool. This project will enhance FocalServer by allowing better configurability and providing a JConsole plugin to facilitate cluster monitoring and administration. Administrators will be able to choose the: -relevant MBean to be remotely monitored -local name of those beans -relationships between those beans JConsole plugin will provide a facility to: -monitor a cluster (focused on processes) -monitor data integrity for replicated spaces -check/modify replication channels -facilitate notification registration based on common triggers (memory, cpu) -more ideas to come :)
