Billing in Grid environments is an open issue with no standards or even sufficiently complete solutions. The distributed nature of GigaSpaces XAP and its fast in-memory operations provide an ideal infrastructure for monitoring, accounting and billing in large Grid environments, while being a universal multiplatform solution.
